Role Summary

 

We are looking for a hungry, experienced professional to be Chief of Staff to the President and serve as a ‘force multiplier’ to LivCor. While involved in all aspects of the business, the Office of the President has direct oversight of finance, insights, enterprise strategy, investments, capital markets, and real estate portfolio strategy. Through unfettered access to the President, the President Ops will participate in and/or lead critical strategic projects that impact the future of the enterprise. Additionally, they will oversee the operations of and analysis related to the President’s daily activities.

 

The Chief of Staff will develop investment themes, draw insights from predictive analytics, engage in projects driving the technology-led “future-proofing” of LivCor, manage communications with Blackstone, investigate operational issues, lead strategic enterprise initiatives, and more.

What you will do:

 

  • Shadow the President and take on projects to be a “force multiplier”
  • Engage in daily thought-partnership with the President, executive leadership team, and Blackstone
  • Own projects and decision-making related to the strategic evolution of LivCor into an investment-forward, tech-enabled organization
  • Conduct independent work to drive investment theses and strategic recommendations to Blackstone
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of initiatives of the President
  • Lead analyses on enterprise, investment, and performance-related projects
  • Investigate and solve cross-department issues
  • Draft correspondence and reports on behalf of President
  • Build mutually-beneficial working relationships with humans across LivCor
  • Manage the operations and action items of the Office of the President
  • Push every day toward next-level thinking  

What you should have:

 

  • Management consulting, investment banking, and/or investing experience
  • A passion for learning about and participating in a cross-section of activities related to real estate investing, finance, operations, and corporate strategy
  • A personal framework for evaluating risk
  • Strong foundation in investing and corporate strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to and passion for frequent travel

As of the date on which this job advertisement is posted, the Company anticipates that the base salary range for this role is $262,000-$289,000. Total direct compensation may also include discretionary bonus and/or incentive compensation. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
