• Manager - Strategic Initiatives

  • The Manager - Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

    As the Manager - Strategic Initiatives, one is held accountable to, but not limited to, the following job functions: 

    • Lead the planning and implementation of identified projects
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Define project tasks and resource requirements
    • Assemble and coordinate project team; consultants, management companies and internal resources
    • Plan and schedule project timelines
    • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
    • Provide direction and support to project team
    • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
    • Present project progress, problems and solutions
    • Evaluate projects and assess results
    • Perform business research and analyze markets, competitors, vendors, options and costs/benefits. Use the analysis to identify efficiencies and optimal solutions.
    • Present findings and makes recommendations on recommended approach and measurable value
    • Oversee vendor bidding and manage relationship/implementation with chosen vendors
    • Manages Project Analyst
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Estimated Travel: 25%


    • 5+ years of experience in Multi-family, real estate, business or project management required
    • Ability to work independently with little oversight, juggle multiple priorities and manage time / multi-task to accomplish objectives of diverse project work
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • General project management experience – manage schedule, budgets, scope and expectation
    • Vendor management
    • Communications development and management
    • Conflict resolution and risk management
    • Works well within an entrepreneurial environment, managing ambiguity
    • Versatile problem solver
