• Director of Revenue Management

  • The Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for the management and execution of LivCor’s revenue management strategy.  The duties include: serving as LivCor’s central pricing authority, managing the pricing tool (YieldStar) and working with LivCor’s executive team to set pricing strategy, review performance, and monitor compliance.  The DRM will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis as needed. 


    LivCor is a real estate asset management firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.  Formed in 2013 as a portfolio company of The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX), LivCor specializes in hands-on asset management of multi-family properties throughout the U.S.  In collaboration with its operating partners, LivCor oversees the management of its properties furthering a mission of maximizing return for investors while offering best in class service to residents.

    As the Director of Revenue Management, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions:

    • Develop, define and execute LivCor revenue management strategy, guidance, policies and procedures
    • Function as a subject matter expert for revenue management and YieldStar
    • Identify and implement revenue management best practices
    • Document current business processes and define new business processes as needed
    • Develop and execute detailed implementation plans
    • Oversee YieldStar implementation, set up and training process on newly acquired properties
    • Prepare agendas and facilitate internal/external meetings
    • Monitor and review market trends and data and apply to revenue management
    • Develop and maintain benchmarking capabilities against both internal / owned portfolio and external sources (REITs, Axiometrics, MPF, REIs, etc.)
    • Assist in the preparation of annual operations budgets and periodic operational forecasts
    • Evaluate and test new YieldStar functionality; review configurations and make adjustments as necessary
    • Evaluate and test new vendor system features and functionality (RealPage, Yardi, LRO, etc.)
    • Review pricing daily and monitor pricing compliance
    • Prepare weekly performance assessments and review with the executive team
    • Develop ad hoc reporting and perform operational data mining and analysis
    • Provide regular status reporting
    • Conduct trouble-shooting and problem resolution




    • A minimum of 3 years detailed experience with revenue management tools (YieldStar) and concepts
    • 5+ years in the multi-family industry
    • Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills
    • A strong work ethic, the ability to supervise, organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to make confident business decisions under tight deadlines
    • Strong accounting and finance knowledge with an ability to understand complex economic modeling theories and systems
    • Intelligence with a keen focus on details


    • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
    • Multi-family operating system experience (Yardi, OneSite, etc.)
    • Essbase, SQL or related database experience
